Home Board
Photo in, calendar out

Sync your paper calendar to your phone with one photo

No retyping, no account linking. Photograph the calendar, confirm what Home Board read, and every event appears in Apple and Google Calendar.

How the sync actually works

Take one photo of the calendar. Home Board reads the handwriting — dates, times, names, even multi-day trips drawn with a dashed line — and turns it into structured events. Anything it's less than sure about is shown to you next to the photo. Confirm, and the events flow to every phone through a private calendar feed you set up once in Apple or Google Calendar.

One-way by design, honest about it

Home Board syncs from paper to phone, not the other way — nothing can silently rewrite your handwriting. For the reverse direction there's the Touch-ups list: a short list of plans that exist on a phone but not on paper, so you know exactly what to write in. The calendar on the wall stays correct, and you stay in charge of the pen.

Better than retyping, safer than guessing

Typing a month of family plans into a phone is the chore that kills every paper calendar. Home Board does the reading, but never guesses in silence: low-confidence events wait for your confirmation, and nothing is added, changed, or dropped without you seeing it.

Questions

Do I have to connect my Google or Apple account?

No account linking. Home Board gives each person a private calendar feed URL — you add it to Apple or Google Calendar once, like subscribing to a sports team's schedule.

What kinds of paper calendars work?

Wall calendars, desk planners, a hand-drawn grid on the fridge — any handwritten calendar you can photograph clearly.

How accurate is the handwriting reading?

Home Board reads most family boards cleanly, and it knows what it doesn't know: uncertain events are flagged for you to confirm against the photo before anything syncs.

Does it sync changes from my phone back to paper?

Not automatically — paper needs a human with a pen. The Touch-ups list shows what's on phones but missing from the calendar, so writing it back takes seconds.
